Pyrite Is a mineral that is found embedded in the top of a mine where coal is located. Mostly found in mines in parts of Illinois. These are called Mine Dollars because a dollar is all they are worth. Sizes very from a silver dollar size to a saucer/plate size. These will polish up to be a shiny silver and bright as the sun!!
